Pigeon Hole Racking

 Pigeon Hole Racking is designed for the horizontal storage of long products.

The racks are generally used for the storage of items which are long and difficult to store elsewhere or are in dager of sagging if not provided with the necessary support.

Merchants often use products used on the racks such as;

  • Plastic Pipes
  • Fascia Boards
  • Timber Lengths
  • uPVC Profiles
  • Copper Pipes
  • Beading

Vertical dividers provide partitions in the rack creating pigeon holes into which the product of any length can be stored.  The vertical dividers can be moved once in place to create large or small compartments as the stock rotates.

Pigeon hole racks can be boarded out on the top level to create a mezzanine floor storage area with a staircase and handrails.

The racks can be manufactured to any size or specification and are available in a painted or galvanised finish.

Helpful Tips:

  • A 600mm x 600mm pigeon hole is ideal to store a cube of timber plus any loose items from the previous pack
  • Chipboard decking is not required on the rack unless the product being stored is pliable (such as uPVC profiles)
  • Is space is at a premium deck out the top of the rack to create another storage area
