How Long Will The Process Take From Start To Finish?
Once the drawing has been agreed the floor can be installed within 3-4 weeks from point of order providing that there are no problems with Building Regulations (which is very unlikely). The actual time on site depends on the size of the floor but most can be erected in a few days.
Is It Difficult to Obtain Building Regulations Approval and How Do I Do It?
You don't need to worry about this, we will deal with it through to completion (chargeable only at cost).
Do I Need Planning Permission?
No, because the changes are internal planning permission is not required (unless there is an existing condition written into the original planning consent).
What About Ceilings & Fire Protection?
Filplastic can quote to provide these aspects as well as all other items associated with mezzanine floors such as staircases, tegal gates etc.
