Pigeon Hole Racking - The Advantages

Designed for both the storage and easy selection of long products which are in danger of bending or sagging.  A pigeon hole rack supports the product at regular intervals (or is fully supported if decked out) so that there is no pressure on any one area. The racks can be adapted to be any size but they are not usually more than 2.5m high as it becomes difficult to reach above this height. A roof and guttering can be added for outdoor use to provide protection against the elements.

So that the floor space lost to the racking is regained it is sometimes preferred to deck out the top of the rack, add a staircase and adapt the rack into an inexpensive mezzanine floor.
